A few words about me
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Every client is different, and so is their healing. What I bring to every session is empathy, humor, clinical expertise, and zero judgment.
Therapy is not just about techniques—it is about the philosophical depth of the human experience.
I am continuously learning—through books, advanced training, and lived experience—so I can hold space for the complexities people carry.

On the personal side:
I am married, a mother to a toddler (who teaches me more about emotional regulation than any textbook), and someone who enjoys winding down with TV shows when the day slows down. I love reading—especially about psychology, human nature, and the emotional patterns that shape us. My curiosity about people does not switch off, and that curiosity deeply informs how I show up in therapy.
People often tell me that I have a soothing voice, which I believe quietly supports the safety and calm that therapy should offer. I am empathetic by nature, and I see therapy as a collaborative space—not where I “fix” you, but where we uncover the version of you that has always deserved to be seen.
I am also deeply passionate about making mental health accessible for Pakistani clients. Healing should not be locked behind language or privilege. That is why I have created and shared thousands of free mental health resources in Urdu on my [add resource page].
Psychoeducation should not feel like decoding ancient Latin. It should feel like coming home to yourself.
My Thought Process...
I was asked a question recently, 'what is one message you'd like to give to Gen Z?' This is it. Life will break your heart, but it will also give you plenty of opportunities to heal.
I want to speak directly to Millennials and Gen Z for a moment. Life isn't always kind; it throws us curveballs, breaks our hearts, and leaves us feeling lost in the chaos. But amidst the struggles, there's something beautiful waiting to unfold – the journey of healing.
I see you, navigating this world filled with uncertainties, battling anxiety, wrestling with depression, and questioning your place in the universe. It's okay to feel overwhelmed; your emotions are valid, and your struggles are heard.
In the midst of this storm, therapy stands as a beacon of hope. It's a sanctuary where you're not judged, where your pain finds solace, and where your story is honored. Through therapy, you can begin to untangle the knots of trauma, mend the pieces of your broken heart, and rediscover your inner strength.
Therapy isn't just about finding answers; it's about embracing the journey, holding space for your vulnerabilities, and learning to love yourself fiercely. It's about finding the courage to face your fears, rewrite your narrative, and step into a brighter, more fulfilling future.
And I know this journey intimately because I've walked it myself. So, to my fellow Millennials and Gen Zers, know this: You are resilient, you are worthy, and you are capable of healing. Reach out, take that first step toward therapy, and let yourself be guided by the warmth of healing hands. The road ahead may be bumpy, but remember, you're never alone – and there's always light waiting to lead you home.

Our First Session?
Our first session together is a place for us to get to know each other and create a collaborative understanding of what has brought you to therapy. If we both decide that therapy will be beneficial and you wish to continue then we will discuss and agree on how we will work together. This may include how many sessions, payments, what happens if you are unable to attend an appointment, cancellation policy, confidentiality, etc. Initial sessions are charged at the standard hourly fee.
You have the right to ask me anything you want to know about my qualifications, experience and your therapy; I would encourage you to do this.
How I deliver therapy?
I am flexible about how frequently we meet as everyone has unique needs. Most of my clients choose to come weekly or every second week at the start of therapy before transitioning to less frequent contact closer to our ending. I offer Long-term and short term face-to-face work, Online therapy sessions and Telephone therapy sessions..
